Cory Jones

Cory is a singer and performer who has captivated audiences for over 30 years. Born and raised on Maryland's scenic "Isle of Kent", Cory blends traditional Celtic melodies, contemporary folk, and eclectic influences into a rich musical experience. His passion for music, particularly tight folk harmonies, was inspired by his mother, who instilled in him a lifelong joy for singing—a joy he shares with every performance.

Cory began his musical journey singing in church at just three years old and later honed his talents with the Maryland State Boychoir. In addition to singing, he's an accomplished actor, appearing regularly in community theater productions across central Maryland. He’s perhaps best known for his vibrant presence at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, where he hosts the beloved Pub Sing, performing rousing favorites, heart-touching ballads, and bringing unforgettable characters vividly to life.

Whether performing soulful ballads or spirited jigs, Cory’s music warmly celebrates the timeless tradition of Irish storytelling. From cozy pubs to grand festival stages, his genuine passion and engaging personality shine through every note.
